Privacy policy

Effective October 21, 2026

This policy explains what personal data AgentLedger ("AgentLedger", "we", "us") collects, why, and what you can do about it. It covers the AgentLedger Snowflake Native App (the "App"), the agentledger command-line tool (the "CLI"), this website at aiagentledger.dev (the "Site"), and our support and sales communications.

In short: the App and the CLI run in your environment and send nothing to us. We never receive your agent sessions, prompts, code, costs or telemetry. We receive only what Snowflake shares with providers about who installs our listing, and whatever you send us by email.

1. The App

The App is a Snowflake Native App. It is installed in, and runs entirely within, your Snowflake account. It reads Snowflake telemetry and data you choose to connect (for example, Cortex Code traces, query history, and pull requests from GitHub or GitLab), and stores the results in your account. Some of that data identifies people, such as Snowflake user names, prompts and the names of developers on pull requests.

That data is processed only in your account, under your control and your Snowflake agreement. The App does not transmit it to us. It has no telemetry, logging or event sharing to the provider, and we have no access to your account. When you connect GitHub, GitLab, Jira or Linear, the App calls those services directly from your account with credentials you provide. For that data you are the controller, and the App is software you run.

2. The CLI

The CLI runs on your developers' machines. It reads local agent session files (from Claude Code, Cursor CLI, Gemini CLI and Cortex Code) and the current git repository, branch and commit, and sends them only to your Snowflake account, through the developer's own Snowflake connection. It keeps its configuration, a queue and logs on the developer's machine. It sends nothing to us.

3. Snowflake Marketplace and billing

When your organization requests, installs or buys AgentLedger through Snowflake Marketplace, Snowflake shares certain information with us as the provider. This can include your organization and account name, Snowflake region, the name and email address of the person who requested or installed the listing, and usage and billing information for paid plans. Snowflake handles payment, so we never receive card or bank details. Snowflake's own handling of your data is covered by Snowflake's privacy policy.

We use this information to provide and bill for the App, to give support, to tell you about important changes such as security updates, and to understand how the App is used.

4. The Site

The Site uses no cookies, analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. It is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes standard request data (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) to deliver the Site and protect it from abuse. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

5. When you contact us

If you email us, we receive your name, email address, and whatever you include, such as logs or screenshots. We use it to answer you, and to follow up about early access or a design partnership if that's what you asked about. Please don't send us prompts, source code or credentials unless we need them to fix a problem you reported. Our email is delivered through Cloudflare Email Routing to a Gmail mailbox.

6. How we use and share personal data

We use personal data only for the purposes above, based on our contract with you, our legitimate interest in running and improving AgentLedger, or your consent where the law requires it. We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not share it for advertising.

We share it only with service providers that help us run AgentLedger (Snowflake, Cloudflare, Google), under their terms, or where the law requires us to, or as part of a merger or acquisition, in which case this policy continues to apply to the data transferred.

7. Retention

We keep customer account information for as long as your organization uses AgentLedger, and for up to two years after, unless the law requires longer, for example for tax records. We keep support email for up to two years after the conversation ends. You can ask us to delete either sooner.

8. Security

The App's design is our main safeguard: your data stays in your Snowflake account. For the little data we do hold, we use access-controlled accounts with multi-factor authentication. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, but we will tell affected customers promptly if a breach affects their data.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, including under the GDPR, the UK GDPR and California law, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or port your personal data, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to withdraw consent. Email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

For data processed by the App or the CLI, such as developers' sessions, contact your organization's Snowflake administrator. That data is in your organization's account, and we cannot access it.

10. International transfers

We are based in the United States, and our service providers may process data in other countries. Where we transfer personal data from the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, we rely on our providers' approved transfer mechanisms, such as the Standard Contractual Clauses.

11. Children

AgentLedger is a business product and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their personal data.

12. Changes

We will post any changes here and update the effective date. If a change materially affects how we use your data, we will also tell customers by email before it takes effect.
